The Knitting Parlour!

Yesterday I went to this amazing knitting shop in Malvern! They won the 2009 knitting retailer of the year award and they have a huge range of beautiful wool in all the colours and textures you can imagine. I was especially drawn to this section of fabics for sale-

However, I didn't buy any yarn - I know it would just be sat in my stash for months because i'm still working on this blanket which is taking forever-

...probably because i'm only doing 3 rows a month at the Birmingham Stitches and Hos night. Doh. It's looking more zig-zag-y as it grows though which is good. You can follow it's progress in my flickr set here.

I must update this blog more often. I'm lazy.

I was in the paper knitting! woop! More knitting photos from the Hare and Hounds stitches and Hos night soon. And I hear there will be a guerrilla knitting event as part of Birmingham's Artsfest that i'll hopefully be taking part in...knit knit knit

At the moment i'm still knitting a zig zag blanket.
